Transport sector is rapidly becoming one of the main cyber targeted industries

Transport sector is rapidly becoming one of the main cyber targeted industries and its cyber security threats shall not be underestimated. NIS Directive obliges Operators of Essential Services (such as Transport operators) to follow new Network & Information Security requirements and mandates incident reporting to competent authorities.

Inappropriate risk management and insufficient level of preparedness can lead to easy-to-penetrate systems for those with nefarious aims and customers’ distrust. Certainly transport security is rapidly interconnecting physical & cyber security concerns and many companies face revolution in organisational structure with more attention to IT and Information Security skills.  

European Cyber Security for Transport Sector 2016 (Berlin, 14th-16th September 2016) will gather European Transport decision-makers & professionals to evaluate current cyber security scenario and to establish protection guidelines aiming to decrease risk vulnerability in their companies.  The event will serve the attendees as a platform to gain insight from a shared proven know-how of highly qualified experts through practical business-friendly networking.
