This is a significant issue that impacts transportation companies through a decline in customer satisfaction and profitability. Efficiency is vital to remaining competitive, and downtime is not acceptable. Better collaboration and reliable real-time communication – whether that’s in a built up city or remote village – is the key to improving in both areas.

Whilst this report, conducted by IDG Connect and commissioned by Motorola Solutions, asked what challenges the transport network faces today it also looked to the future and how companies just how they were going to overcome today’s problems. Specifically it looks at the role communication plays across the workforce and how it is being put to the forefront of strategies to move forward.
