Géraud Boursin joins RATP Dev as head of new Bids development division

RATP Dev, a subsidiary of RATP Group, is modifying its organisation to enhance its ability to plan ahead and prepare for development opportunities.

Effective 1 September, the Development division will be split into two separate entities:

  • A Strategy and Business Relations division headed by Alain Polonsky, currently development director
  • A Bids development division headed by Géraud Boursin, who will be joining RATP Dev for this purpose.

The Strategy and Business Relations division will be tasked with strategic thinking and a dynamic market approach along with transversal partnership approaches and direct sales actions.

The Bids development division will directly produce bids for tenders in complex offers and will support local teams when they develop bids in response to tenders. The division will include project directors and managers as well as business analysts.

Both division directors will be members of the RATP Dev executive committee.

Géraud Boursin

A graduate of the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées, Géraud Boursin has over 20 years’ experience in mobility and the public transport sector, particularly in international fields. He worked for 15 years in Veolia Transport Group and then Veolia Transdev, firstly in Australia as managing director of the Veolia Transport Sydney subsidiary and then as development director for the region before being appointed deputy managing director for Veolia Transport activities in Australia and New Zealand. In 2008 Géraud Boursin was appointed development director for the Veolia Transport group as a whole and then for Veolia Transdev before taking on the position of group digital services director in 2012. He has been carrying out consulting and assistance assignments as independent consultant since 2013 for corporate development projects.
