Developments & Innovations in Nordic Urban Transport

Originally developed following the tremendous success of our Scandinavian Rail Development conference, we are delighted to present the second annual Scandinavian Urban Transport conference. Governments are increasingly urging passengers to use public transport. But in order to get people off the roads they must offer a fully integrated transport network. Scandinavian Urban Transport will discuss this integration and debate what is being done to provide the major cities throughout the Nordic countries with an efficient and user friendly service. From buses to trams, light rail to metro, the expansion of every city network is key to providing a greener environment, reduced congestion and ultimately deliver what the passengers demand.

This conference will bring together the key stakeholders from across the major cities in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland to discuss the importance of urban transport and to share opinions as to the future development plans for the major cities. Covering all modes of urban transport, including metro, trams, buses and light rail, the programme comprises representatives from transport authorities, operators, infrastructure owners and vehicle manufacturers.
