HID Global’s identiCLASS(TM) and veriCLASS(TM) Embedded Reader Platforms Selected as Finalists for SESAME Award

HID Global, trusted worldwide leader in solutions for the delivery of secure identity, today announced its globally certified identiCLASSTM and veriCLASSTM embedded reader platforms for e-government, cashless payment and ticketing systems have been selected as finalists in the CARTES 2010 SESAME award competition. The world-class platforms are based on universally adaptable contactless reader technology, and include a broad range of developer support tools, including a patent pending remote server technology, global product approvals and technology certifications that enable manufacturers of e-ID authentication systems to significantly speed time to market with their finished solutions.

Based on 395 submissions received from leading manufacturers, integrators and developers in the card industry worldwide, the company’s two embedded reader platforms have been jointly recognized as one of only four finalists in the SESAME identification/ID card award category.

In its 15th consecutive year, the SESAME awards represent an unchallenged seal of approval in innovation and are regarded as the global standard for card manufacturers and related industries. The awards will be presented December 6 at the SESAME awards ceremony in Paris, France.

HID will be demonstrating its identiCLASS embedded reader platform at the ICAO Worldwide Symposium, November 1-3 in booth # 21 at the ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, Canada, and both identiCLASS and veriCLASS embedded reader platforms at CARTES 2010, December 7-9 in stand #2 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris.
